Dyan Burlingame

Dyan Burlingame is a Clinical Assistant Professor and Director of Design & Technology here at UB, as well as a Freelance Scenographer. She has been a guest lecturer of design for the United States Institute for Theatre Technology (USITT) and for Niagara University, Niagara Falls, NY. Dyan is a resident designer for Neglia Ballet Artists. In Buffalo, she has designed for Shea’s Buffalo Theatre, Shakespeare in Delaware Park, Irish Classical Theatre Company, Rockwell Hall, UB Center for the Arts, Artpark, Jewish Repertory Theatre, City of Night Buffalo, Hallwall’s Artists and Models, Buffalo Botanical Gardens, Mass Appeal, and most recently, Road Less Traveled Productions. Nationally, Dyan has designed for BAV Services in Chicago, Houston, Bethesda, Hartford, Orlando, and Naples. She holds a BA in Theatre with a Minor in Archaeology from the University at Buffalo and a MFA in Stage Design from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas.
